It’s actually really reassuring to know that we’re not the only ones obsessed with checking feedback and comments on our blogs. Yes, the stars love to do it too. Accoding to TOI, whenever Deepika Padukone’s free, she goes online to check comments on her interviews, videos and uploaded movie scenes. Wow, and we thought they weren’t listening.

And, though this does involve having to read some horrible stuff about herself, she generally laughs it off. The constructive criticism she believes helps her improve her acting skills and these guys on the internet obviously have a more unbiased opinion than her friends and family. Most of our stars are aware of the best aspects of their physical appearance. So while some insure their favourite assets, others leave no stone unturned to make sure they look their best, come rain or shine. Now Deepika Padukone can thank her beautiful tresses for signing a Rs 5 crore deal with a coconut hair oil company to endorse their brand.

The actress has maintained the length of her long hair over the years despite suggestions to trim them shorter. Interestingly, it was only after a market research campaign that Dippy was signed on. As a result, the brand custodians approached the actress and after a couple of meetings finalised the deal.

Our source further explains, “Deepika, who has always been very health conscious, is also very particular about her hair. That’s also why her long locks have been given due importance in the various looks she has portrayed in her brand commercials.

So while the hair care brand had listed her name among the top stars to endorse their product range, the survey results based on public opinion further reaffirms that people feel the same too.” Deepika Padukone remained unavailable for comment.

In Bollywood it is nothing new to watch heroes romance the co-actresses half their age on screen. However for Rajinikanth it might is, despite he was seen romancing Aishwarya Rai in Robot.

Buzz says that the decades old actor has shown his inhibitions for a love sequence with Deepika Padukone. We have informed many a times that Deepika and Rajinikanth will be seen in Kochadaiyaan, which is an upcoming 3D movie.

Recently the two were shooting for a love song being choreographed by Saroj Khan. Saroj, who is known for choreographing some of the best romantic songs, apparently wanted a sizzling sequence between Rajini and Deepika. However, Rajinikanth was apprehensive over getting close to Deepika and expressed his concerns to his daughter and director of Kochadaiyaan, Soundarya; he asked her to change the scenes since he was not really comfortable shooting them!

Guess who came to the rescue then - Deepika Padukone! She went to Rajinikanth and apparently had a chat with him and asked him to shoot the song the way it has been choreographed! She even made sure that Rajini was comfortable while filming the song!

Actors Deepika Padukone and Kalki Koechlin seem to be the new BFFs in B-Town. Buzz is that the two struck up a friendship while working together for Ayan Mukherjee’s film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani alongwith actor Ranbir Kapoor. The three actors who were almost on a month-long schedule for the film in Manali are currently shooting in Udaipur and have been bonding with each other.

According to sources, the trio got along rather well from day one and share an easy camraderie. “Deepika, Ranbir and Kalki bonded really well as they had many common interests.There were no ego hassles or any discomfort, which often is the case when two actresses shoot together,” says an on set source. “They almost formed a mutual admiration society as they talked about each other’s work. Deepika and Ranbir go back a long way and so do Ranbir and Ayan, as they have worked together in the past, but Kalki didn’t feel like an outsider at all and they bonded over not only their films, but also her hubby Anurag’s (filmmaker Anurag Kashyap) films,” adds the source.

“Even when Ranbir wasn’t around, Deepika and Kalki would indulge in a lot of girlie banter, and even made some impromptu shopping trips in the city,” said an insider.

The three, who have been shooting round-the-clock for over a month now didn’t miss home much, thanks to each other’s company. “Luckily they all got along well so they didn’t miss home all that much. Otherwise being on outdoor schedules is not very easy for such long periods of time. But with Ayan, the three had a great time,” adds the source.

After breaking from Siddharth Mallya, Deepika Padukone is more than likely to make her Prabhadevi apartment available for a new buyer. It was not long back when Deepika had moved from the 2BHK to 3BHK Prabhadevi apartment on a high rise building.

It has just been around six months and there is news that the leggy actress wishes to put it up for sale. It was only recently that the pictures of Dippy’s house were seen in an interior decorating magazine.
Whatever be the reason and the feelings of Deepika about selling the house, the real estate agents have already started making the necessary movements and are taking each and every possible step to make an advert of the house. Some of them even claim that the house has Deepika’s personal touch that makes it so special.

Says a source from the 'Kochadaiyyan' team, "Rajni Sir wanted the romantic movements and gestures to be watered down. But Deepika insisted on letting them be. She in fact made sure Rajni Sir was comfortable."

When quizzed about the romantic song in 'Kochadaiyyan', producer Dr. Murli Manohar said, "It's a brilliant romantic song. A duet with classical undertones. It's not a classical dance number, as wrongly reported in the media. A. R. Rahman has outdone himself in the song. It's an extremely romantic song with classical elements woven into it. But it isn't a classical dance number."
